Brockeridge Centre

The Brockeridge Centre was opened on 6th May 2000,  it replaced a derelict hut, with this energy efficient building at the centre of the village. The Centre has walls of local pennant stone, a simulated black slate roof, and mullioned windows to harmonise with neighbouring Brockeridge Infants' School (built in 1846 as a British School). It is designed to enable wheelchairs to navigate level pathways and enter wide doorways into each room, including the cloakroom. A hearing loop is installed, also adaptations which assist the partially sighted and public Wi Fi to allow visitors to access the Internet. The building has easy access with no steps and wide doorways.
The Centre houses the offices of the Parish Council and public toilets, which are available during opening hours.
It also hosts the local Computer Group and the Brockeridge Youth Club. Its meeting rooms and function rooms are available for hire and it has a well equipped kitchen available for the preparation of food and drinks.
